It is also an ideal opportunity for them to get up close to the animal kingdom, with bottle feeding lambs, sheep shearing and horse grooming, (depending on time of year).

Or take them for a visit to one of the many museums and tourist attractions, with Beatrix Potters' Hill Top Farm within driving distance. Or maybe a trip on Windermere's steam boat and if they tire of exploring our countryside you can always visit one of our nearby seaside towns, such as Whitehaven.
